EVAVOL
The EVAVOL project was an initiative of the Spanish Platform of Volunteering (Plataforma del Voluntariado de España) in collaboration with the Volunteering Support Center of Lazio (Centro di Servizio per il Volontariato del Lazio), the Portuguese Confederation of Volunteering (Confederação Portuguesa do Voluntariado), Meath Community Rural and Social Development Partnership and Cork Institute of Technology (now MTU).
The focus of the project was the development of an online platform to enable volunteers to document their learning and seek formal recognition for the knowledge, skill, and competence they had acquired in their role relevant to their academic studies.
Cork Institute of Technology was the higher education provider and contributed to the development of the online course and platform for those seeking formal validation of learning gained through volunteering.
The project ran from December 2018 to November 2020.
