The MTU Careers Fair 2024 took place on October 3rd, in the MTU Arena of the Bishopstown Campus with over 150 enterprise partners in attendance, including public sector organisations, multinational corporations, as well as small and medium local enterprise. The event provided an opportunity for MTU to explore graduate jobs and internships across multiple industries, offering direct connections with enterprise representatives.

MTU Extended Campus were delighted to host a lunch for employers and to offer a broad range of opportunities to connect with MTU staff, students and researchers, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), upskilling and reskilling. The refreshments were kindly sponsored by the HCI RPL in Higher Education and Lifelong project (www.priorlearning.ie). The HCI RPL project is focused on enhancing the practice of RPL within higher education institutions with a particular focus on enterprise engagement and the workplace as a centre of learning.

The conversations and connections were wide ranging and lively – including building on existing relationships and forging new links.
