Physical Sciences Certificate in Process Instrumentation & Calibration students and lecturing staff welcomed Damien McDonnell, Managing Director and Owner of Polar IceTech to guest speak as part of the Introduction to Industrial Utilities modules.

Damien brought the students through different types of cleaning solutions for industry with a particular focus on Dry Ice Cleaning which provides a eco-friendly cryogenic cleaning solution to a wide variety of industries.

Recently, Polar IceTech won All Ireland Business Foundation, Best in Class Sustainable Cleaning Company 2024 and Business All-Star two years in a row. Dry Ice Cleaning supports advocates of sustainable manufacturing by offering a cleaner, more efficient, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cleaning methods, contributing to the overall goal of reducing the environmental impact of industrial processes.
