Ready Steady Work Wins Operational Excellence in Education Award
06 July, 2022
MTU's Ready Steady Work programme scooped the Operational Excellence in Education Award at the Operational Excellence Awards 2022 on the 30th of June.
Ready Steady Work addresses the needs and challenges experienced by MTU students with learning differences, health conditions, and disabilities and designed to prepare participants for future work.
The programme was developed by MTU Careers Service and Disability Support Service (DSS) in 2017 to support students registered with the DSS. DELL Technologies came on board as official partners in 2020, enabling programme participants to meet a leading employer and receive constructive feedback to support their progress.
It is the third award for the career readiness programme offered by MTU in collaboration with DELL Technologies. Ready Steady Work was the winner of the MTU Higher Education 2021 as part of the Cork Celebrates Lifelong Learning Awards 2021 and the Best Business and Third Level Collaboration at the 2022 Education Awards.
Ready Steady Work is available to all MTU DSS students in their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years, postgraduate students, and graduates in their first year after graduating from any faculty.
The deadline for this year's applications is Friday, the 26th of August, 2022. Further information on the programme is available here.
