Congratulations to Olympic and Paralympic athletes and MTU students Monika Dukarska, David Kenny and Jordan Lee, from our Cork and Kerry campuses.

Monika Dukarska, currently studying for her PhD in Education, and her teammate Aileen Crowley finished fifth in the rowing women's pair B final to place 11th overall.

David Kenny, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student, finished 29th in the men’s 20 kilometre race walk.

Jordan Lee, who is studying Health and Leisure, will compete in the high jump at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games which begin on the 24th of August.

Congratulations to Monika and David on their achievements and we wish Jordan every success in his event in Tokyo!
