Spirit of Enactus Award 2021 Goes to MTU!
28 May, 2021
Enactus MTU is part of the Enactus global organisation, a non-profit NGO with chapters across 1,730 campuses in over 35 countries.
Since 2017 Enactus Ireland has been awarding an individual, team, company, or group with the Spirit of Enactus award. The purpose of the award is to highlight the incredible work currently undertaken within the Enactus network by all of the different stakeholders. The prestigious award honours those who have shown a distinct commitment, passion, and enthusiasm for furthering the vision of Enactus.
We are very excited to commend the Enactus team at MTU for being selected for this prestigious award!
At a virtual ceremony held for the Enactus Ireland awards this month, the team from MTU was highlighted as having truly excelled this year. The group lived the Enactus values and fully engaged in all aspects of the programme. Enactus MTU had a representative at every event hosted this year and was applauded for this.
The group's resilience during a global pandemic was highlighted, as they set ambitious goals at the beginning of the year and exceeded each one. Enactus MTU has grown in both team members and their on-campus presence and has developed engaging educational events.
This is not the first award won by Enactus MTU; the group has also been honoured at the 2021 MTU Societies Awards. Reaching outside their core society group to support or improve others secured them the 'Risam Uile' Award.
Speaking on the group's success, Enatus MTU Chairperson Joshua Manaid was full of praise for the entire team. "Everyone on the Enactus MTU team played a huge role in our success this year - from our weekly events, project work to collaborations with other MTU societies".
