Springboard 2021: Opportunities for Companies and Employees
11 February, 2021
The HEA has issued its 2021 call for Springboard proposals and MTU Cork campus will be submitting an impressive range of courses this year, building CIT's strong track record in previous years.
This is an opportunity for companies and individual employees to review their training and development needs, and explore how MTU can help realise them, at low cost. Funding grants are available for 90% or 100% of costs, depending on the course and the applicant’s circumstances.
Previously, courses have ranged from Process Safety and Validation Science for the Pharma / Biopharma industries; to Culinary Skills and Catering, for the Hospitality sector. Brexit-related courses such as Supply Chain and Logistics will feature again in this year’s proposals, and we hope to offer our ICT Skills conversion courses, which are always in high demand.
Programmes will vary in duration from 12 weeks to two years, depending on the award, with the majority of courses being tailored to suit those in employment wishing to upskill. Flexible online delivery will feature strongly this year with evening and weekend lectures, and blended learning options will be available where there is a practical element to the programme.
