Beyond IoT 4.0: Hugely Successful Technology Conference Lead by the Nimbus Research Centre Moves to a Virtual Platform for 2021.

20 January, 2021

Beyond IoT, the annual global tech conference, returns for its fourth consecutive year on Monday 25th of January 2021.

As the world has been forced to swiftly adapt to a digital landscape, this year’s conference is no different. Beyond IoT 2021 will be a virtual experience and will focus on the rapid digital revolution the world has experienced over the past twelve months.

Beyond IOT will gather together global thought leaders, industry and research experts and award-winning keynote speakers including Andrew Macadam, Microsoft for Startups; Dr Sally Eaves, Emergent Technology CTO and Dr Donna O’ Shea, Chair of Cybersecurity at MTU. Discussion topics will cover everything from Big Data and Cybersecurity to Ethical Tech, and, of course, the Digital Revolution. You can purchase event tickets here.

Richard Linger, Nimbus Technology Gateway Manager at MTU, highlighted the importance of moving the event online to keep pace with the digital revolution. “The importance of moving the conference online is not just for keeping the momentum of Beyond IoT going but also highlighting innovation through doing. The beauty of a technology conference is that there’s no better way to showcase innovation than bringing the industries many capabilities right into everyone’s homes,” Mr Linger said.

In previous years, the conference welcomed up to 600 guests. However, this year’s virtual platform means admission is now open to an unlimited number of participants. Beyond IOT attendees will have the unique opportunity to join private sessions and workshops with global industry leaders, while also having the chance to network and collaborate.

The event, organised by MTU’s Nimbus Research Centre, has a host of high profile sponsors who will also be in attendance such as Stracos, Microsoft for Start-up’s, Arrow Electronics and many more. By purchasing a pass for the event, you will be granted full access to the conference platform, three main stages covering Industry Europe, Industry Asia and Research, workshops and the exhibitor floor.
