In the second guest speaker of the Industry Expert seminar series, Bríd Ryan of Queen B Athletics spoke to 4th year Marketing students about the journey of the business. They focus mostly on providing comfortable sportswear for female rowers and also designed exercise leggings and sports bras.

She highlighted that there were many hard times as well as good times at the beginning and all it took was one vital connection that catapulted them into the public eye. Their first major client was the Great Britain Women's rowing team who used Social Media to show their followers the brand of sports bra they used. 

Bríd spoke about the importance of being able to market your product correctly to the target audience. There was a Q&A session at the end of the presentation in which the students took part and engaged very well with Bríd.

The next guest speaker in the seminar series is Honor Cooper Kovacs from Tackt on Friday March 3rd.
