CIT were delighted to welcome Cathy Burke, General Manager, and Bernie Whelan, Business Development Executive, from Travel Counsellors Ireland, to the Senior Staff Breakfast on Friday Feb 5th.

This monthly event is hosted by Paul Gallagher, VP for Finance & Administration and is an informal get-together for senior staff from all departments and administration functions.

At each breakfast a presentation is given by an external organisation who have partnered with CIT. This months presentation highlighted the very positive and ongoing engagement between Travel Counsellors Ireland and CIT.  Cathy Burke described how, for the second year running, Travel Counsellors have hired a student on work placement from the Masters in Marketing Practice course in CIT. 

Ms Burke said this collaboration has been hugely beneficial to Travel Counsellors who have gained from the expertise of these new marketeers who are digital savvy and market ready.  She also told CIT staff about the dynamism these new students have brought to the company and paid tribute to the Masters in Marketing Practice course for the extremely high quality of student produced.
