Customised Course Solutions 

Some of MTUs best programmes (both at undergraduate and postgraduate level) have been co-designed and co-created with companies who are industry leaders in their sector. MTU relies on its strong relationships, with enterprise and community groups, to ensure its programmes are industry relevant and creating graduates to meet the needs of employers. Extended Campus, through a close working relationship with the two main faculties in MTU, initiates and supports MTU’s interaction with the respective industry leaders involved in the course design process.

If your organisation has a particular training and development need we would be very happy to talk to you about the development of a customised learning pathway. We recognise that knowledge exchange and partnership between higher education institutions and enterprises provides the optimum environment for relevant and up-to-date education and development opportunities. MTU’s Full Time and Part Time courses represent only a part of the MTU provision of education for learners in the workplace.
Our modularised and semesterised approach offers a flexible and agile solution to programme development with a ‘building blocks’ credit accumulation approach. Our well established recognition of prior learning (RPL) service ensures that learning is built on and not repeated and our valuable experience in the development of specialised learning pathways in partnership with enterprises includes integration of work-based learning and e-supported learning where appropriate.
